Fisrt I notice that the image has almost no grain, and that is a very good starting point to raise its color level....It seems to me that the bell tower should be bright white as all russian monasteries are and the roof should gave a more metallic look!......So, first I would use the LEVELS tool to bring up just a bit the total brightness and add a touch (чуть-чуть) of brightness, and then the SATURATION tool, with only the Blue channel to deepen the sky;I suggest you dont use the CONTRAST tool which ruins pictures. If you dont have Photoshop, use ACDSee which is very inexpensive and has very similar tools: - I hope any of this helps!
About the Rostov's Kremlin domes: it made from aspen! After some time it becomes gray with satin tint. Really, it looks exactly like on the picture - something silky gray. I'm agree with you - it's not usual for Russian domes. Domes on the bell tower possibly covered by metal painted in gray, to be in the same gamut with Kremlins wood domes.

Увы. она и не отмечена особо. Любой, тут на форуме, знает (ночью разбуди) что фотография это светопись, но на практике мало таких работ, и у меня в том числе .....
